Auditions for 2026-2027 Season
We welcome all to come Audition. A link to Audition Materials and Information for signing up will be emailed by July 1st. Auditions will be held at UAF in the Fine Arts Complex, McGown Room.
September 2026
Fall Rehearsals Begin September 12th, through December 12th
FYO Regular Rehearsals Every Saturday, except November 28th for the Thanksgiving Holiday, at UAF: YS 9:30-12, CO 9:30-11:45, SO 9:45-11:30. We ask two parents each week to provide snacks.
October 2026
International Friendship Day-YS Rehearsal at Pioneer Park
Youth Symphony Rehearse and Perform at Pioneer Park 9:30am, Rehearsal, 12pm, Performance. CO and SO will rehearse at their usual time and location.
November 2026
Thanksgiving Break

Performance and Bake Sale at Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concerts
FYO Musician Groups are asked to perform. Parent Volunteers are needed for the Bake Sale.
Fairbanks Youth Orchestras Winter 2026 Concert
Davis Concert Hall at UAF’s Fine Arts Complex-Musicians will have a call time prior to the concert, times will be announced. Report to assigned warm up rooms: YS-McGown, CO-301, SO-311
Barnes and Noble Fundraiser Store Performance
FYO Musician Groups are asked to perform. Barnes and Noble helps us fundraise through purchases made using our Bookfair ID. (The exact date has not been confirmed.)
