Fees

There are 3 orchestras. The registration fee is applicable for each semester enrolled.

Youth Symphony Semester: ~~$300~~ $150

Concert Orchestra: ~~$250~~ $125

String Orchestra (only string instruments): ~~$200~~ $100

A 50% tuition reduction for the 2026-27 season is being sponsored by the Fairbanks Symphony Association.

Auditions

Scheduled auditions occur in the fall only.

Parents and Musicians will need to complete registration and pay fees once the audition occurs. FYO council members will be at auditions and can assist with the process. Once the audition is scheduled, you may register in advance if you have experience with FYO.
