Auditions will be held on September 6 and 7, 2013, and to be held at the old University Park building on University Ave. You will be able to sign up for an audition time on this website after August 1.

All musicians must audition once a year. Tuition is $210 for the 2013-14 season and is due at the time of audition.

Orchestras

The Fairbanks Youth Orchestras consist of three groups: String Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and Youth Symphony.

All groups meet on Saturday morning from September through May on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Campus. Participation in all the FYO ensembles is by audition. Please direct any questions to fairbanksyouthorchestras@gmail.com

Concert dates will be posted and all members are expected to play the concert, as a part of their participation in the Fairbanks Youth Orchestra Program. Please note the concert dates before auditioning for the orchestras and make sure that you have no conflicts. If you know that you will not be able to make those concert dates and still want to participate in the orchestras you must notify the conductor at auditions of conflicts with concert dates.
